Amy Take Two

17 10 2008

WARING>>>>>>>> The images you are about to see were taken in bad lighting on my iPhone. Please forgive me.

This is Amy’s wedding day bouquet and her new hubby’s (Mitch) boutonniere. For the bouquet we used blue iris, green cymbidium orchids, eggplant callas and peacock feathers. I love the texture and the iris’s remind me so much of a peacock. For Mitch’s boutonniere we kept it simple with a single mini calla and the colorful peacock feather. We then adorned it with some of my fav bullion wire which made the colors just pop! Thank you Amy and Mitch for being such great clients!

P.S.- Hopefully we can get some better pics from the fabulous Tawsha from The Color Blue Photography.

Amy’s feathers

29 09 2008

Saturday was Amy’s bridal sitting. For her bouquet she wanted something colorful and it definitely had to have peacock feathers! We used super green roses, purple lisianthus, purple veronica, brown dahlias & peacock feathers. Then we topped it off with some luscious brown satin and alternating pearl head pins. Love it!

P.S.-The top 2 photos were taken by the very talented Tawsha @ The Color Blue Photography. I love the pink bike! This just shows how important having a pro photographer is.

Kim Continued

21 06 2008

Kim’s colors were watermelon and silver. She wanted flowers that were “wild looking”. The flowers consisted of Hot pink dahlias, pink snapdragons, stock and larkspur. Her twin daughters carried hand held pomander balls. Boutonnieres were made of pink dahlias and snapdragons for the men and white dahliasfor the mothers. Kim’s bouquet consisted of white stock, white snapdragons and hot pink dahlias, tied with watermelon ribbon and a silver ballerina ribbon adorned on top.

Kim thank you for letting me be a part of your second chance at “Happily Ever After”!!!

Bouquet Bling

22 04 2008

What a day this was! I woke this morning not feeling 100%. I was still struggling getting back on my feet after having a tonsilectomy (getting my tonsils removed). Having never had surgery before i was unaware of how much recoup time was needed. Any how… I was able to put together this bouquet for Blue Bijou for their debut on Good Things Utah. Sarah had four models, wich all looked Fantastic, and this bouquet just added a little more pazzaz to the bridal preview. We had such a great time at the studio and hopefully will be able to have some of our designs featured. A big thanks to Coz who helped us girls get some great shots behind the sceens! More photos to come!

Bouquet is made out of Cherry-Brandywine Roses, Safari Sunset (not a usual flower for bouquets), Green Hydrangea and Cream Lisianthus. I think it turned out pretty fabulous considering the circumstances. We adorned the stems with some of the beautiful bling from Blue Bijou! PERFECT!
